La grande carta celeste in otto fogli, 85 x 42 inches, circa 216 cm per 106,70, di Samuel D. M'Cullough, incisa da John Knight di Filadelfia e stampata da G. E Lewis, riproducente i due emisferi celesti in proiezione polare equatoriale conica equidistante ed in visione concava veniva venduta dall’autore accompagnandola con un saggio di astronomia che la descriveva intitolato “Picture of the heavens : for the use of schools and private families : being a full and distinct explanation of the different celestial phenomena, divested of mathematical formulae : with tables for determinig the moon's age, calculating eclipses, etc., etc. : adapted to the comprehension of young persons.
